Air fryer burrata bomb
You will never look at burrata the same way again.
We’ve taken this mild and creamy cheese and wrapped it up in pizza dough, then air-fried the whole lot.
This is the party starter dish you’ve been waiting for.
• 250 g store-bought fresh pizza dough
• Flour, for dusting
• 75 g sun-dried tomato pesto
• 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
• 150g burrata
• 60g salted butter, melted
• Thick balsamic vinegar, to serve (optional)
• Green salad, to serve (optional)
Roll out dough on a floured surface to a 30 cm diameter round and spread with pesto , leaving a 6-8 cm border.
Arrange basil leaves over the pesto and place burrata ball in the center.
Brush the exposed pastry with melted butter .
Fold the dough over the burrata to make a parcel, then roll onto the folds, to seal.
Place in the basket of an air fryer and brush all over with melted butter.
Air fry at 170°C for 10-12 minutes or until the dough is golden and cooked through.
Serve with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and a salad , if desired.
