Garlicky Ribeye Steak Kabobs With Roasted Asparagus And Potatoes
However, throughout ancient history, the main use of garlic was for its health and medicinal properties.
Its use has been well documented by many major civilizations, including the Egyptians, Babylonians, Greeks, Romans, and Chinese.
Scientists now know that most of the health benefits of garlic are due to the sulfur compounds that form when a garlic clove is chopped, crushed, or chewed.
Perhaps the most well-known compound is allicin. However, allicin is an unstable compound that is only present for a brief period in fresh garlic after it is chopped or crushed.
Other compounds that may play a role in garlic’s health benefits include diallyl disulfide and s-allyl cysteine.
The sulfur compounds in garlic enter your body from the digestive system. They then travel throughout your body, exerting powerful biological effects.
Fast food has always gained a bad reputation among the public, especially weight watchers. Unfortunately, kebab is one of them! The origin of this dish dates back to the Ottoman Empire (Turkey), and it is one of the most popular street foods.
Usually made using lamb meat, Doner Kebab is prepared by Sydney kebab manufacturers and includes Halal certified lamb, salt, white pepper, onion powder, breadcrumbs, natural spices and natural flavors.
This prepared food can also be eaten as a meal replacement or as a snack. While this dish is a favorite, easy to prepare and delicious, it can also be nutritious and healthy.
