8 jumbo pasta bowls

½ pound ground beef

½ (1.25 oz) package taco seasoning mix

½ cup water

½ (16 oz) canned chilled beans

⅓ cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ (16 ounce) glass of salsa, divided

2 tablespoons chopped green onions

2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese

¼ cup sour cream


Prepare filled tacos:


Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Bring

water to a boil in a large saucepan over high heat. Mix the noodles with the shells and bring to the boil again. Cook the pasta, uncovered, until slightly firm, about 13 minutes.Drain well.

Browned ground beef in a large skillet; drain the fat. Combine taco seasoning and water; Simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes until thickened. Add the refried beans and 3/4 cup cheddar cheese to the taco meat. Pour the meat mixture into the prepared pastry cases.

Pour 1/4 cup of the sauce into the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Arrange the stuffed mussels on the sauce. Pour a tablespoon of the remaining sauce over the bowls.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Remove from the oven; Sprinkle with chopped green onions and 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese.Serve with sour cream.
